IC effects

When paired with a compatible SPI addressable LED strip, the SP530E can create effects that regular PWM controllers cannot.

Depending on the strip and selected mode, this can include:

• Moving color effects
• Music-reactive effects
• Adjustable effect speed

For these moving effects, your LED strip must be SPI/addressable.

Compatibility & important notes

• Choose the CCT remote for adjustable white/CCT lighting setups.
• Choose the RGBCCT remote for RGB + adjustable white lighting setups.
• Chasing, flowing and segmented effects require a compatible SPI/addressable LED strip. Standard PWM strips cannot create these IC effects.
• Your power supply must match the voltage and power requirements of the LED strip being used.
• Power supply is not included unless specifically stated.
• The controller supports a wide range of LED strips, but the correct strip type must be selected during setup in the BanlanX app.
• Alexa and Google Home features require the SP530E to be connected to Wi-Fi.
